Dorothea Hall is a minor character from the Game Series. She is the mother of April Hall. She does not actually appear in the books.

Dorothea is a singer and wants to be an actress[1], touring with bands and playing supporting roles in movies. Her stage name is Dorothea Dawn. She is described as beautiful and glamorous[2]. Her manager is called Nick, and he is a good friend of the family.

Dorothea aspires her daughter, April Hall to dress like her even though she is just a child. Dorothea appears to love her daughter, but she cannot spend much time with her due to her work.

Dorothea lives in Hollywood with her preteen daughter April; her husband died in an accident shortly after April was born. She leaves frequently on tours, and they move around a lot, never staying in one place for too long. During a summer, in early August, she sends April to live with Caroline, April's grandmother, promising that they would be reunited soon.

After returning to Hollywood in October, she gets a job in a night club[3], however, nothing is said about April coming back. Later, she gets married with Nick and moves in his apartment, sending April's remaining things to Caroline.

April gradually stops missing her, and even refuses her invitation for a winter holiday trip.
