Mr. Schmitt is a minor character from the Game Series.

Description[]

He runs Schmitt's Variety Store, a general store on Orchard Avenue. He runs the store alone, because he is so avaricious that no one wishes to work for him at the low salary he intends to pay[1]. He sells things at a high price and he often cheats customers out of small change if they are not careful enough[2].

He has a cousin, a stocky redheaded young man with freckles, who occasionally helps out in the store as a stock boy. He is revealed to be mentally unstable[3].

Activity[]

When the first murder occurs in the neighborhood, he sides with those who suspect the Professor. He even tries to get people to sign a petition inviting the Professor to leave the neighborhood. It is suggested that he does this because the Professor sells cheap things in his shop, spoiling the trade of Schmitt's Variety Store.

Later it is revealed that the murderer was his cousin, the red-headed boy, who is caught and taken to a mental hospital.
