Point of View: April Hall
On Thursday afternoon, April, Melanie, Marshall and Elizabeth visit the library to learn more about Gypsies. April notices that Marshall brought his toy octopus, Security, even if he gave up carrying it around some days before. On the way to the library, April tells the others what she knows about Gypsies.
Mrs. George, the librarian, gives them lots of books, magazines and encyclopedias and they start their research. They learn that Gypsies came from India, they have their own language and do things like fortune telling. They decide to rename the Professor's backyard to the "Gypsy Camp" instead of "Land of Egypt".
Before they leave, they check out several books to continue reading at home.
