The Borden family and Abby O'Malley travel by car to Squaw Valley for the winter holiday. The trip from San Francisco only takes a few hours, however, time seems to drag by, as everyone is looking forward for the holiday. Eventually, they arrive to the Bordens' cabin, and memories flood Abby.
They have dinner at a restaurant and Paige notices two good-looking boys, Alex and Pablo, and takes a liking for them. She takes a napkin the boys used, and in the evening, when the two girls go to bed in their own room at the top of the cabin, she asks Abby to use her special powers to find out where the boys are and where will they go. Abby refuses, telling that she will not - and cannot - use her powers for unimportant things.
